Maikls Grants. Michael Grant
Maikls Grants ir amerikāņu rakstnieks žanrā Young Adult. Dzimis Kalifornijā armijnieka ģimenē, tāpēc bērnībā viņam bieži nākas braukt uz dažādiem štatiem. Viņš ir nomainījis 10 skolas 5 štatos un 3 skolas Francijā. Pats Maikls atzīst, ka par rakstnieku viņš kļuva, tāpēc ka „tā ir viena no profesijām, kas neprasa dzīvot vienā vietā”.
Tagad Maikls Grants dzīvo Tiburonas pilsētā, Kalifornijas štatā, ar cievu Ketrīnu Eplgeitu (arī rakstnieci), diviem bērniem un daudziem mājas mīluļiem.
Kopā ar savu sievu Ketrīnu Maikls ir sarakstījis ap 150 grāmatas, tajā skaitā pazīstamas sērijas "Animorphs" (Animorfi) un "Everworld", kā arī paša sērijas "Gone" un "BZRK".
